Participants in Budget & Planning: Financial Happiness will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in Room 212. The registration fee is $10. This session will be repeated on Sept. 24, Oct. 8 and Oct. 16 for those who wish to participate.

It’s hard to believe, but Back to School is right around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited! This year, we’re doing something NEW and special: we’ve combined all the building open houses and scheduled them before school starts, creating one big Back to School Kickoff Extravaganza.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the fun in store:
Parent Information Sessions (HS 5:00pm, MS 5:30pm, ES 5:40pm)
Open House: meet your teachers, get MS/HS schedules, tour building
Free popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream and water
Food trucks and food vendors for purchase
Dunk tank
Bounce houses & lawn games
Football toss
Quiz Master Game Shows at 5:15pm, 6:20pm, and 7:20pm
Little Free Library Walk
Community partnership tables & SCCS department tables in the HS lobby
Free books for students
Free SCCS cinch bag for every student
Transportation safety activities in the bus loop

Check out Strong and Toned with Betty Bates! A light and easy class which will include simple chair exercises to music. We will include the use of stretch bands or light weights if you choose to bring them to class. Come and tone up!
