Looking for an easy-on-the-joints workout? Try Aquacize and work out in the pool! Get into shape and enjoy the benefits of this fabulous joint-friendly exercise! The class is fast-paced and cardio-intensive, but can be modified to fit all participants. Participants will meet on Tuesday & Thursday at 3:45 – 4:45 p.m. from February 24-March 31 at the SCCS Pool. The registration fee for 11 classes is $35.

The Elementary School got to enjoy Pet of the Month today! Mr. Morton of Sundance Kids Farm brought his adorable pet Prairie Dog, Elvin, to school for the students to learn more about! They learned about their diet, noises they make, and how they survive in the wild! We can't wait to see what he brings next!

On this #SeniorSunday, let’s give a shoutout to IVAN LEMKE! Ivan attends the WNY P-TECH program at Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES in Dunkirk studying Welding Technology. Ivan was inspired to pursue this pathway at a young age, as his grandfather and father both dedicated their careers to metalwork. Ivan prides himself on discipline and work ethic, devoting his time to mastering many different techniques and skills that will set him up to launch into a career after graduation. Today's #SaturdayMorningShoutOut celebrates the incredible Mrs. Jen Cave — our amazing 6th‑grade math teacher who leads with her heart every single day. She’s truly one in a million, trust us… we did the math.
Mrs. Cave brings so much fun, joy, and creativity into her classroom. Whether she’s weaving math into our Halloween celebrations or making fractions come to life by baking gingerbread cookies, she always finds a way to multiply the magic and subtract the stress for our middle schoolers. Her lessons always add up to meaningful (and memorable!) learning.

Unleash your creativity in this 6-session tie-dye course perfect for beginners and returning students alike! We will cover classics such as spirals, stripes, geodes, and mandalas, along with dyeing methods including liquid dyeing, ice dyeing, snow dyeing, and reverse dyeing. Each session includes hands-on time to try a new method or theme. Students should bring 2 – 4 dyeable items to each class; all other materials are provided. Think beyond basic tees-cotton or other natural-fiber items like skirts, dresses, tablecloths, pillowcases, tote bags, or even cloth napkins are all great canvases. Items do not have to be new or white; tie-dye is a beautiful way to revive stained or faded favorites. You will also learn how to choose items for the best long-lasting, vibrant results. Bring your items and excitement to make colorful, seasonal creations!
Participants will meet Thursdays from Feb. 26 – Apr. 2, 2026 at 6:00 – 7:30 pm in Room. 149. Registration fee: $55 for6 classes or $10/class.
