A group of hardworking seniors received recognition at the Board of Education meeting last night for attaining the NYS Seal of Civic Readiness. Students were able to showcase a portion of their work during individual presentations for board members, the administration team, and family members. This acknowledgment signifies the students demonstrate the following domains: civic knowledge, civic skills and actions, civic mindsets, and civic experiences. This program recognizes student achievement in Social Studies and English courses as well as community service, work-based experiences, becoming an advocate for policy change, and coordinating service projects to better the community and world we live in.
Congratulations to the following members of the class of 2025: Ella Austin, Karissa Buchanan, Josie Daniels, Marissa Grisanti, Alexander Karnes, Makayla Kelly, Mattison Larson, Xavier Myers, Adeline Richardson, Ana Szymanek, Ethan Vecchio, and Kaden Weeks. #BKP #SCCARES
