I hope that your son/daughter’s school year is going well. We have made it through wintertime, and spring is just around the corner!
Please be advised that Mr. Stearns is unavailable and not in the District until further notice. We have arranged for Mrs. Delia (De) Bonenberger to serve as interim elementary school principal until further notice. Most of you will recognize Mrs. Bonenberger’s name as she continues to serve our district in many different capacities. Mrs. Bonenberger served as our interim middle school principal this past fall, interim superintendent during the 2015-2016 school year and additionally, she served as interim elementary principal in the past. Rest assured, Mrs. Bonenberger has a wealth of experience as an educator in our local region, has intimate knowledge of our district, administrative experience at all levels, and a deep sense of commitment to the students and staff of Silver Creek Central School District.
Mr. Hall continues to support the elementary school in his administrative capacity as Assistant Director of Elementary Programming. I am confident that Mr. Hall and Mrs. Bonenberger will skillfully continue to meet your child(ren)s’ needs.
