COVID 19 Protocols for the Annual Budget Vote & Election
■ Voters who have tested positive for COVID within 14 days, have symptoms of COVID or have been in close proximity to a COVID positive individual are asked to vote by absentee ballot. Please contact the District Clerk at (716) 934-2603 ext. 1900 to request an application and ballot.
■ Per Executive Order, any qualified voter who does not wish to vote in person due to the risk of exposure to COVID is entitled to vote by absentee ballot. Please contact the District Clerk to request such ballot: Emily Cole (716) 934-2603 ext. 1900.
Absentee Ballots
The application for an absentee ballot is available below or may be obtained at the office of the Clerk of the District between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (EST) except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Completed applications must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the election, if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or on the day before the election, if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter.
Absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk, by mail or in person, prior to 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 to be counted.
For the 2022-2023 school year, there is one (1) five-year seat open on the Board of Education. This term will commence on July 1, 2022.
Petitions for anyone interested in running for a seat on the Board of Education are available from the District Clerk. Petitions require signatures from at least 25 district residents.
Completed petitions must be returned to the District Clerk by 5:00 p.m., on April 18, 2022.
