Dear Silver Creek Elementary Community,

We hope you and your family are enjoying a wonderful summer! Whether you've been traveling, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying the sunshine, we hope this season has been filled with fun, relaxation, and lasting memories

As we reflect on this past school year, we want to take a moment to say thank you. Serving as your principal and assistant principal during our first year together as Black Knights has been an incredible privilege. Because of your support, we experienced a school year filled with joy, growth, and countless moments that reminded us what a special community Silver Creek truly is.

While we hope you're making the most of your summer break, we want you to know that we truly miss seeing our students. Silver Creek Elementary just isn't the same without the laughter, curiosity, and excitement that our Black Knights bring to our hallways each day. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing school year!

Although students are away, our staff has been busy preparing for the first day of school. Throughout the summer, our teachers, support staff, and office team have been collaborating, learning, organizing classrooms, and planning meaningful learning experiences to ensure every child feels welcomed, supported, and ready to succeed. We are incredibly excited for all that the 2026-2027 school year will bring and look forward to partnering with you to make it a memorable one.

One of the best ways to kick off the new school year is by joining us for our Silver Creek Elementary Back-to-School Extravaganza on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

This special evening gives students and families the opportunity to

• Meet their new teacher.
• Visit their classroom and become familiar with their new learning environment.
• Reconnect with friends and classmates.
• Meet members of our school community and build excitement for the year ahead.

Whether your child is entering Pre-K or beginning their final year at Silver Creek Elementary, we hope every family will join us. The Back-to-School Extravaganza is a wonderful opportunity to ease first day nerves, ask questions, reconnect with our school community, and begin another year of learning together.

At Silver Creek Elementary, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to every child's success.
