Elementary Library

Book policies and procedures:

• All books returned during the time of COVID will be quarantined for 1 week before being returned to the shelves or being checked out again.
• All books must be returned by their due date. Books may be extended if needed.
• Students will be allowed to browse for titles on display only and all students browsing must wear masks at all times and exercise social distancing (6 feet apart).
• Students will be allowed to check books out from titles in the display areas (or via OPAC searching for exact titles: see link below).
• Once students know what books they are interested in, students will notify Mrs. Michalak for retrieval of each title.
• Remote learners will be allowed to check books out by contacting Mrs.  Michalak via TEAMS to request titles.  Students will use OPAC to find books of interest or ask Mrs. Michalak for a range of titles based on interest.
